Unfortunately in the arts, tuition and ticket sales often do not cover all of the costs associated with running an arts organization like BT-SLO. Following the COVID-19 Pandemic, the arts community and organizations like ours have years of work to do to rebuild. We rely heavily on donations to help us keep our doors open, present performances, and reach our goals.

Donations are tax-deductible and donors will receive a receipt for tax purposes. BT-SLO is a 501(c)(3) non-profit (20-8393945).

VIP Backstage Experience

Have you ever wanted to peek behind the curtain for a major professional theatre production?

For Développé level donations or above, we invite two guests to a VIP Backstage Experience for one of our major theatre productions: The Snow Queen or Undine.

The Experience includes a wine reception and VIP tour of the theatre, costume department and backstage walk-through, and a special performance showing during the final dress rehearsal.

Brand Visibility Opportunities

For businesses donating at the Pirouette level or above, we offer optional brand visibility opportunities during one of our major theatre productions: The Snow Queen or Undine.

Brand visibility opportunities could include:

Promotion/recognition in Playbill, the in-theater program distributed to all show attendees
Recognition on the Ballet Theatre San Luis Obispo website
Ability to use Ballet Theatre SLO logo/images in company press releases, website, and marketing promoting sponsorship (subject to BT-SLO approval)
Your business logo on all BT-SLO email communications about the performance
Dedicated post to our social media followers on Facebook and Instagram
Live ‘thank you’ from our Director/announcer during the show's announcements
